Progressive leaders need a deep understanding of the men and women who choose to support the common good through military service. Building relationships with service members is the best way to learn what America's military can do, how it works, and what missions it is suited and unsuited for.
The Truman Security Forum works to connect men and women in uniform with the progressive movement, and to introduce progressives to our service members. We share so much common ground, and so many values. It is time we put to rest the myth that we are divided.
