Sarah Beckerman
Sarah works on our flagship program, the Truman Security Fellowship.
Sarah graduated the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in
Political Science and History. While in college Sarah was a Junior
Fellow at the Library of Congress where she assisted in the
declassification of National Security Council documents. Soon after
graduation she participated in yearlong volunteer program in Israel
where she worked in developing peripheral cities teaching English to
new immigrants and working with at-risk youth in after school programs.
While in Israel, Sarah also worked at the International Institute for
Counter Terrorism at the Interdisciplinary Center's Herzeliya where she
conducted preliminary research for a new book focusing on the
psychology of terrorism.
