The Truman National Security Project Educational Institute is a nonpartisan national security leadership institute, the nation's only organization that recruits, trains, and positions a new generation of progressives across America to lead on national security.
Our mission is to provide the skills, knowledge, and network to create an influential force of leaders across the country who advance strong progressive national security policy.
Today you will find leaders we have trained running for office across the country, advising presidential and Congressional campaigns, drafting legislation in the halls of Congress, assuming leadership posts in the military, playing key roles in local and national government, and working on the front lines of America's homeland security.

"WiLL attracts women legislators who are changemakers with big agendas and busy schedules. We partner with Truman to deliver a fast-paced hands-on package of media and message skills for tackling national security issues. Whether facing a tough interview, a grueling campaign, a combative legislative battle, crafting a thoughtful op-ed, or lobbying their Member of Congress, legislators relying on their Truman training are reporting great outcomes to us. We're looking forward to continued collaboration with Truman's smart effective staff to deliver resources to our WiLL legislators."
